This ambitious project was perfectly suited to the Calibre team - a complete renovation plus extension of a victorian terrace in the fashionable Surry Hills precinct of inner Sydney.

The vision was to modernise the interiors and extending while maintaining the Victorian aesthetic. Additional bathrooms, along with extending the ground floor living area and linking to the back yard through bi-fold glazing with an entertaining deck above, were notable extension features.

This was a challenging project - termite damage to the original floor structure and some supporting walls required removal and replacement while supporting the two levels above.  Replacing these failed members with structural steel and new floor joists was another opportunity for Calibre to highlight their ability to identify issues and master solutions in critical situations.
