Calibre was thrilled to collaborate once again with our long-standing design partner, Bentley Design, on this design-and-construct project.
The objective was to seamlessly integrate a contemporary addition to a Federation-style home, while enhancing the interiors and bathrooms to create timeless, low-maintenance living spaces. The use of recycled bricks, polished concrete floors, and the extensive application of raw, exposed surfaces introduces both warmth and subtle colour throughout the space.
What we did
A key challenge in this project was addressing a persistent water table issue affecting the original structure. In addition, we worked to bring the entire building up to modern standards. While this posed a significant remediation challenge, it also provided the Calibre team with an opportunity to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional construction solutions.
